About Don Koogler

Just as an artist brings vision of a masterpiece to an empty canvas, Don Koogler approaches each home he builds as a unique work of art. Trained at his father’s side, Don has been indulging his passion for homebuilding for more than 30 years. His strong sense of ethics and emphasis on excellent customer care are firmly rooted in his Midwestern upbringing.

  

At 18, Don opened his own building company in Iowa. He successfully operated the business for more than two decades before moving to Florida and introducing Gulfstream Building & Development in 1997. The firm became known for customizing its homes to match the uniqueness of their owners. Building upon that tradition of individuality, Don Koogler launched Koogler Homes, Inc. 

   

Since moving to Florida from Iowa in 1996, Don has built more than 250 exceptional homes in Southwest Florida. Along with uncompromising quality and design, perhaps his greatest signature has been that every Koogler home is unique. Like a fingerprint, each residence he has built is truly custom, designed to fulfill the desires and lifestyle of its owner.  Now Don gives full license to his expertise and vision, creating distinctive homes that, like an artist’s masterpiece, transcends the ordinary.

When you contract with Koogler Homes, you get much more than a builder. We will help you find the ideal home site, listen carefully to your wishes, work with you to create the architectural design and help you coordinate your interior color schemes. Together, we will create a vision for your home, “seeing” the completed project before a single shovelful of dirt has been moved.
  
Homeowners are always welcome to visit the job site, but don’t be surprised if you see Don Koogler on-site doing the carpentry work on your new home. As a hands-on builder, Don takes pride in his homes and often builds the cabinetry and ceilings himself.
